
Production on ‘When I stand on the Moon’ began in May 2006. Director Mark Fisher and Production Designer Rebecca Morrison were successful in securing deals with prestigious Companies such as LEGO, NIKKO, and Major League Baseball’s NEW YORK YANKEES. Not to mention U.S Toy Manufactures X CONCEPT, all of whom jumped at the chance to get involved once reading the script.
Casting Director Ann Koska -‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ was able to secure the acting talent of Curtis Victor (Jamie) who had previously played Kevin Spaceys’ son in the Multi-Award Nominated film ‘Beyond the Sea’ (2004). Ann was also instrumental in finding actress Jules De Jongh (Sarah) and John Sechi who plays Ryan, Jamie’s older Brother.
Late May 2006 marked the start of principle photography in Redbourne, Hertfordshire. And set Oceansky Pictures off on the journey to complete its first 35mm short film.
Production on ‘When I stand on the Moon’ was completed in September 2007 at Halliford Film Studios, Shepperton and is now in Post-Production. Work has now begun on the Visual Effects for the films main sequence finale at the National Film and Television School, Beaconsfield and the Icing.
