STORYLINE SYNOPSIS - ‘WHEN I STAND ON THE MOON‘

’When I Stand On The Moon’ is a short film set in the present day and records one magical night’s events for our story’s hero, a nine-year-old boy called Jamie.

Two years previously, Jamie’s older brother, Ryan, was tragically killed in a road accident and ever since, Jamie has found it difficult to come to terms with this. Even his mother cannot adequately answer his naive questions as to why he can never see his brother again.

Tonight, however, as he disobeys his mother’s instructions and stays up late reading superhero comic books under his bed covers, he is about to be visited by Ryan who has returned to spend one last moment with his younger brother. Midnight is the chosen time and a mutual friend Ryan brings, along with an amazing gift that will keep Ryan’s memory alive forever and help Jamie overcome his grief.
